Things to Do in Nusa Lembongan

Nusa Lembongan is smaller, more developed and considerably easier to get around than its larger neighbour Nusa Penida, with paved roads instead of the rough, cliff-hugging tracks that make a Penida day trip such a slog. What it trades away is some of Penida's most dramatic clifftop scenery, replaced by mangrove channels, an established surf break, and straightforward diving and snorkelling that includes the same mola-mola season as the rest of the Nusa Islands. It's a genuinely relaxed base for a night or two rather than a day-trip destination, with a slower pace than Sanur or the south-Bali mainland it's reached from by fast boat. The seaweed farms along the shallows between Lembongan and neighbouring Ceningan are worth a look even without diving gear. Below are the top-rated tours, surf lessons and boat trips based on Nusa Lembongan.
